At Gurusthanam, we pride ourselves on our excellent delivery and recording of the EYFS curriculum. Our Curriculum Manager provides termly objectives for each age group, which allows the teachers weekly planning to be much more specific. These termly objectives are displayed outside each class room for parents to see at all times.

A strong relationship with our parents is crucial and we do everything we can to help our parents fully understand how and what their child is learning and achieving. Outside every classroom you will be able to see the weekly planning with links to their termly objectives, weekly notices from the teacher, termly objectives in a clear format and a homework area.

Our Curriculum manager creates a Parents curriculum guide each term which is distributed to all parents( this is also send through our Andriod Application), which allows parents to have advance knowledge about the weekly topics and gives ideas about activities linked to the weekly topics which parents can do at home with the children to provide continuity of learning.

All our teachers produce Progress portfolios on each child which includes evidence of how each child is achieving each EYFS objective for their age group. This evidence is formed through many different techniques and mediums, For Example; written observations, photos, group observations, videos, voice recordings etc.
